30th Poultry Science Symposium

Alternative Systems for Poultry Production

This conference will investigate how methods of housing poultry affect their health, welfare, nutritional requirements, the environment, and economics of poultry production. This exciting meeting proposes to cover a wide range of poultry (e.g. laying hens, meat chickens, turkeys, breeding stock, waterfowl, and gamebirds) and their various housing systems (e.g. barn, free range, organic, aviary, enriched cages).

The programme will consist of invited national and international speakers, invited papers and
poster presentations. Invited speakers’ papers will contribute to a book to be published by CABI.
