Summer 2004 Newsletter : UK Branch Annual General Meeting
The Branch 38th AGM was held on 7th April during the Annual Meeting at the University of York. Copies of the Minutes will be sent to all members together with the Agenda for next year's AGM. Reports and accounts for 2003 have already been distributed.
Mr Marcus Kenny and Professor Christopher Wathes were elected unopposed to serve on Council for a further period of four years and Dr Carolyn Preston, Professor Peter Surai and Dr Wendy Wakeman were all elected unopposed to join Council.
Retiring from Council this year were Mr Richard Hunter (who has agreed to remain as Branch Webmaster) and Dr Nick Sparks. Dr Graham Perry, who has also served for eight years, will continue on Council in his capacity as Chairman of the Symposium Committee.
The President warmly thanked those who leave Council for their service and help.
