Summer 2001 Newsletter : Managing Broiler Lameness

A one day Workshop will be held on Wednesday 10 October 2001 at the School of Veterinary Science, Langford, Nr Bristol.

A full range of solutions to the problem of broiler lameness will be explored in a one day Workshop which will be of interest to broiler producers, processors and retailers, broiler breeders, veterinarians, legislators, advisors, researchers and those concerned with poultry welfare and marketing standards.

In short, lameness is a problem for the producer and for the broiler. The focus of the workshop will be on husbandry measures that work. The programme will be:
