Summer 2001 Newsletter : Annual General Meeting

The Branch AGM was held on 11 April during the Annual Meeting at the University of York. Minutes will be sent to all members together with the agenda for next year’s AGM. Reports and accounts for the year 2000 have already been distributed.

Dr Paul Hocking was elected Treasurer/Assistant Secretary, the post which he was previously co-opted to fill. Andrew Ball was elected to Council and Dr Kelvin McCracken and Dr Paul Rose were re-elected for a further four year term. Dr Colin Fisher, who has been elected as a Vice President of the WPSA world organisation, has also agreed to become a co-opted Member of Council. It is hoped that his renewed involvement in Branch affairs will help to engender a closer relationship between the two.
