The European Symposium on Poultry Nutrition 2009
The Council of the UK Branch of WPSA is organising the 17th ESPN which will be held in Edinburgh, Scotland on 23-27th August, 2009. You are cordially invited to attend this meeting.
The European Symposium is a popular, successful series and provides an international forum for the discussion and exchange of ideas, on all aspects related to poultry nutrition. It follows the previous sixteen Symposia, the first of which was held in Denmark in 1977 and the most recent of which was held in Strasbourg, in 2007 and attended by about 600 delegates from academia, research, industry and government.
There will be ample opportunity for exhibitors as well as presenters to present their wares as well as to indulge in social activities in and around Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland.
The 17th European Symposium on Poultry Nutrition will take place at the Edinburgh Conference Centre at Heriot Watt University, 23rd to 27th August 2009.
Edinburgh is one of the world’s most beautiful cities. Its long history is reflected in its beautiful buildings, not least the famous castle, the new Scottish Parliament Building and the sweeping Georgian terraces of the New Town. During the month of August Edinburgh is host to The Edinburgh International Festival and The Edinburgh Military Tattoo, which takes place on the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle. ESPN 2009 will be held in the final week of the festivals and this is a wonderful opportunity to experience Edinburgh at its peak time of year.
