On 18 June 2001 an important luncheon was held at the Butchers Hall, London to mark three important occasions: the Centenary Celebrations of Harper Adams University College, the 75th Anniversary of the National Institute of Poultry Husbandry and the 10th Anniversary of the Temperton Fellowship. This Fellowship was established to mark the significant contribution of Dr Harold Temperton, Director of the NIPH from 1951 to 1974 and it has inspired the production of a series of reports during the last ten years:

The following two years will be used by the College to further develop its role in poultry education on both a UK and global basis by taking advantage of the most modern communication methods available. In 2003 it is intended to relaunch the Temperton Fellowship with a report on this work and on its future development.
